Our Commitment

BLACK MILK COFFEE is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We aim to continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.

Standards

This website strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.

What We Do

• Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields, menu) are accessible via keyboard
• Focus states: Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements for keyboard users
• Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet minimum contrast ratios against backgrounds
• Alt text: Images include descriptive alternative text
• Semantic HTML: Proper use of headings, landmarks, lists, and ARIA attributes for screen reader compatibility
• Reduced motion:Animations are disabled or reduced when the user's operating system preference is set to "reduce motion"
• Responsive design: The site is usable across screen sizes without horizontal scrolling
• Form labels: All form fields have clear, associated labels and error messages are readable
• Mobile menu: The mobile navigation traps focus, responds to Escape key, and announces its state to screen readers

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are working to identify and resolve any remaining issues.

• Image placeholders currently lack real descriptive alt text (they describe placeholder labels, not actual image content)
• Map placeholder does not include equivalent text-based directions
